I feel I'm soooo late posting my Christmas cards to far away places this year, they're on their way now, so, I can relax, sit down, and add another post to my blog! I made most of my Christmas cards earlier in the year, put them away and forgot about them. So I was pleasantly surprised when I rediscovered them - and even more surprised when I remembered how I'd made them :o))
There is a purple and silver theme to this little set - all due to the stickers - from Docrafts, although I think they are no longer available?
Each sticker is small, under an inch square (possibly 2cm in metric), so they look really lost on a card. So to help them become more, I decided to mat them onto card stock and found a matching lilac card.

Some of the stickers have a clear background which meant the pretty image would be lost on the lilac card, so I placed these down on white card first and cut them out.
I cut the lilac card into strips and then into squares, placing a white paper backed sticker on one of them, thought they looked a bit plain, so using a QuicKutz Goosebumpz (GB-013), added the swirly texture - which is just the right scale for such a small sticker.
After lots of hand pressing with the QuicKutz hand press and the Goosebumpz textured plates, I adhered all the stickers in the centre of the embossed squares.
I had a few 3" x 8" cards and played about, laying the stickers out in different configurations until I settled on the ones you can see.
On some I've added a silver peel-off line and on one used a snowflake border punch (with double sided tape on the inside edge, sprinkled with silver glitter).

Happy Crafting - Anna :o)
