Cute Rabbit Holding a Daisy

I put this card together for a poorly friend using a little decoupage kit I'd had from Docrafts - it could have been included inside one of their goody bags?

The only thing I added was the card blank, glossy accents and glitter!

Materials and Tools:
Daisy & Dandelion Decoupage kit
5x5 inch white card blank
1mm deep sticky pads for the decoupage layers
Adhesive
Craft knife
Glossy Accents
Ice Stickles - Lemon Ice

How I put it all together:

  1. Basically, I followed the layer guide from the decoupage sheet, using the 1mm high pads to layer the rabbit up.
  2. From the matching papers, chose the daisy one and marked the size for this mat on the paper using the card blank as a guide - and cutting slightly smaller so I could cut around the pre printed daisy on the ribbon.
  3. Placed the layers on the card and thought it looked a little too plain, so tried the matching stripy paper underneath.  I thought it looked much better, so glued the stripy paper down and cut away the excess with a craft knife.
  4. Next glued the pretty daisy paper in place followed by the rabbit decoupage.
  5. The card still needed something extra, so I used a similar glitter colour to the daisy centres - Ice Stickles (Lemon Ice) - in the centre of each of them
  6. Finally, Glossy Accents over the rabbits nose and eyes - I put this on with a cocktail stick as they are so small and the drop of Glossy Accents was so too big!
Happy crafting , Anna :o)
